Yacine Fall will present Bearing Earth, a performance that reroutes the sonic qualities of a cast maraca. The maraca’s interior space (potential to create sound) is muted in its objecthood as a space for deeper listening. The performer—like the maraca—will not have access to the sound, sharing a state of weighted stillness. Fall has exhibited works in venues such as Essex Gallery NY, African Center, and Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art. Fall recently graduated with a MFA from Yale University.

Natie is a creole musician/singer-songwriter from Reunion island, based in New York City. After a world tour in Beyonce & Jay-Z's band in 2018, Natie launched her solo career with the release of her music video "Identity" & her debut EP "In the Key Of Fall". Through her music, Natie aims to share the experience of being creole (mixed race) and uprooted, with authenticity and grounding, in the hope to foster more openness and belonging.

Yaissa Jiménez is a poet, performer, writer, and scriptwriter with a deep passion for observation. Her debut book, Ritual Papaya, published in 2018, is acclaimed as a collection of bold, "isleña," and syncretic poetry. Jiménez won the title of 1st Champion at the Abya Yala Poetry Slam 2021 "America Cup" in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2022, she earned her MFA from New York University’s Spanish Creative Writing Program. In 2024, she released her second publication, a collection of stories exploring the neighborhood world of San Lorenzo de Los Negros Mina, SD, RD.
