Fridman Gallery will present a site-specific installation of commissioned works by Daniel Neumann and Juan Betancurth for the SUR section of ZONAMACO 2020. Disambiguations is a grouping of sound objects, which would be produced specifically for the fair and would incorporate or respond to the elements, structures, and existing milieu of the fair. The installation includes four works, White Cube (suspended), Double Phase, Cabinet, and Hook #4. Each of these pieces contains multiple or ambiguous functionalities as they produce different manifestations of sound and object in relationship to the body.
